A small Kent
outfit that turns up.
KCS is based in Folkestone. Recovery and transport around the clock, and used cars sold under the Kent Car Sales name.
The short version
The person who answers the phone is the person who turns up with the truck.
There is no call centre here and nobody reading from a script. Ring the number and you get someone who knows exactly where the truck is and whether it can reach you.
Most of the work is ordinary and local. Somebody broken down on the A20, a trader who needs a car moved, a non-runner that has been sat on a drive for a year. We do a lot of it, which is why the photographs on this site are all real jobs rather than stock pictures.
We cover cars, vans and trade vehicles, and we take scrap and end-of-life vehicles away as well. Recovery runs 24 hours because breakdowns do not keep office hours.
KCS started out as Kent Car Sales, and we still buy and sell used cars alongside the recovery work. Whatever is available goes on our Facebook page.
